The short version

PanoRibbon does not require an account and does not contain advertising, analytics, or developer-operated tracking. Your original photos, source videos, carousel images, videos, and export history stay on your device. Optional Smart framing sends a reduced image and composition request to our TokenGate service and an AI provider, as described below.

Photo and video decoding, trimming, HDR conversion, cropping, resizing, JPEG creation, video rendering, and temporary export storage happen on your device.

Photos you choose

PanoRibbon opens the operating system photo picker when you choose a source photo or video. The app reads only the item you select. It does not scan your library. It sends a reduced copy of the selected image only when you enable Smart framing.

The app keeps temporary working files in its private cache while you edit or export. The operating system may remove those files automatically. Starting over, clearing the app's storage, or uninstalling the app removes remaining private working data.

Optional Smart framing

Smart framing is off by default. The first time you turn it on, the app asks for your consent. Turn the Smart framing switch off on Home to stop future AI requests. You can use manual editing and every export option without it.

To suggest motions and place slides for the motion you choose, the app sends a JPEG copy of your photo or the selected video reference frame, with its longest side reduced to at most 768 pixels. It removes EXIF metadata, including location and camera information. The request also contains the original image dimensions, whether the source is a photo or video reference frame, and, when placing slides, the chosen motion, aspect, minimum slide size, allowed durations, and loop-back option. The original video is never uploaded.

The requests go over HTTPS to TokenGate at tokengate.aceves.mx, then through OpenRouter to the configured AI provider. PanoRibbon requests require zero-retention provider routing and disallow providers that collect request content. TokenGate does not store the image or request content after processing; the AI processing is used only to suggest motions and place your slides.

The app creates a random installation ID on first use and keeps it locally. It is unrelated to your name, email, advertising ID, or any account. TokenGate stores a project-scoped one-way fingerprint and usage amounts to enforce the $1 per-installation monthly allowance and the shared service budget. These usage records contain no image or composition request. Detailed usage records are retained for up to 90 days; monthly usage totals may remain longer.

You remain in control of every slide. Cancelling a request or receiving an error leaves your slides unchanged. Editing, previewing, rendering, saving, and sharing the finished files happen on your device.

Files you create

Carousel images are written to your photo library only when you choose Save. PanoRibbon opens the system share sheet when you choose Share. The destination you select processes the files under its own privacy terms.

Video rendering uses the device's local media encoder. PanoRibbon does not operate a rendering server or cloud project store.

App permissions

PanoRibbon uses an internet connection for optional Smart framing. It uses the system photo picker to open a selected photo or video and requests photo-library access when you save finished carousel images. It does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or advertising identifier.

This website

The product site does not run advertising or analytics. Amazon Web Services delivers the static files and processes normal network request information needed to return the page. Aceves Apps does not add visitor profiles or cross-site tracking.

Feedback messages

If you use the feedback form, Aceves Apps receives the feedback type, message, optional app version, and optional reply address through Amazon Simple Email Service. The service does not place the message in a customer database or use it for marketing.

Cloudflare Turnstile processes normal browser and network information to block automated submissions. After Turnstile accepts a submission, the feedback service turns the source network address into a keyed one-way value and counts messages from that value for one hour. It deletes the counter after two hours and does not store the network address itself.

Children

PanoRibbon is a general-audience photo utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not have accounts, social profiles, or public publishing inside the app.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, Aceves Apps will update this page and the effective date before the new practice applies.
